Return & Refund Policy (South Africa)
1. Overview
At PrimeNest, we are committed to providing high-quality products. This Return & Refund Policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and applicable South African laws.
2. Your Rights Under South African Law
In terms of the CPA:

All products come with a 6-month implied warranty of quality

Products must be safe, durable, and free from defects

If a product is defective, you have the right to request:

A repair,

A replacement, or
-
A full refund

This is your choice — not ours.
3. Returns for Defective or Faulty Products
If your motion sensor light is defective, damaged, or not working properly:

You must notify us within 6 months of delivery

We will:

Cover return shipping costs

Offer repair, replacement, or refund (your choice)

⚠️ If the product is repaired and fails again within 3 months, you are entitled to a replacement or refund
4. Returns for Incorrect or Damaged Delivery
If you receive the wrong item or it arrives damaged:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

We will arrange collection at no cost to you

You will receive a replacement or full refund
5. Change of Mind / Unwanted Products
We may accept returns for non-defective products under the following conditions:

Return request made within 7 days of delivery (online orders – cooling-off period)

Item must be:

Unused
-
In original packaging
-
In resellable condition

⚠️ Return shipping costs may apply for non-defective returns.
Note: South African law does not require sellers to accept change-of-mind returns, but online purchases may qualify for a cooling-off period
6. Non-Returnable Items
We reserve the right to refuse returns if:

The product has been misused, altered, or damaged by the customer

The product has been installed permanently or modified

The defect was clearly disclosed before purchase

8. Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after inspection

9. Important Legal Notes

Defective goods must be returned at our risk and expense

We cannot override your CPA rights with stricter policies

A “no refunds” policy does not apply to defective goods under South African law
